Research Purpose
EURJPY MACD V Base is the control version of the EURJPY MACD research branch.
The Base version remains unchanged while modifications are tested in parallel.
The purpose of this structure is to measure whether each modification improves, worsens, or does not materially change the original EURJPY MACD logic.
Why This Base Version Was Selected
EURJPY MACD V Base was selected through historical screening rather than manual chart selection.
The selected control configuration uses EURJPY on the M15 timeframe with a 24-hour maximum holding period.
The Base version serves as the unchanged reference model for the EURJPY MACD research branch. Any later modification must be compared against this control version.
This version operates in PAPER_SIM_ONLY mode. No live orders are sent.

Research Lines
1. EURJPY MACD V Base Reports
This line contains weekly reports for the unchanged Base version.
The Base version is used as the control reference for all later EURJPY MACD modifications.
2. EURJPY MACD V.30 Modification Reports
This line contains weekly reports for EURJPY MACD V.30.
Each V.30 report compares the modification with EURJPY MACD V Base for the same observation period.
The comparison should show whether the modification improved:
- Net R;
- Gross +R;
- Gross -R;
- trade count;
- TP, SL and MAX_HOLD distribution;
- maximum realised drawdown;
- balance-path stability.

- Every modification must be evaluated against the Base version over the same period.
