Weekly Report 30 — MACD Robot Observation Update

Week 30 Overview

Week 30 was a quiet observation week for the active MACD paper-simulation package.

No major performance event occurred during the week. No robot produced sufficient evidence for promotion to the next development stage, and no branch was archived or selected for aggressive optimization.

The purpose of the week was to continue collecting comparable paper-simulation data from the existing MACD versions without introducing additional modifications.

Robots Observed During Week 30

The active MACD observation package contained six robots:

  • EURJPY MACD V Base;
  • EURJPY MACD V.30;
  • EURJPY MACD V.30.1;
  • AUDCAD MACD V Base;
  • GBPUSD MACD V Base;
  • GBPUSD MACD V.30.

Each robot represents its own research version and remains under independent observation.

The versions should not automatically be treated as direct winner-versus-loser competitors. Base versions and modified versions are retained in parallel so that their behaviour can be reviewed over comparable observation periods.

EURJPY MACD Branch

The EURJPY MACD research line currently includes:

  • EURJPY MACD V Base;
  • EURJPY MACD V.30;
  • EURJPY MACD V.30.1.

The Base version remains the reference implementation.

V.30 and V.30.1 remain modification branches created to test adjusted trade-management behaviour while preserving the Base version unchanged.

During Week 30, the available evidence did not justify promoting any EURJPY version or discontinuing one of the existing branches.

All three versions therefore remain under paper observation.

AUDCAD MACD Branch

AUDCAD MACD V Base remained active during Week 30.

This branch continues operating as a base research version. No new AUDCAD modification was introduced during the week.

The available Week 30 observations did not require a change in status, additional filtering, or promotion to demo-account testing.

AUDCAD MACD V Base remains an active paper-simulation research branch.

GBPUSD MACD Branch

The GBPUSD MACD research line currently includes:

  • GBPUSD MACD V Base;
  • GBPUSD MACD V.30.

The Base version remains active as the reference branch, while V.30 continues as its existing modification.

Week 30 did not provide sufficient evidence for a promotion, archive decision, or further modification.

Both versions remain under observation so that their behaviour can be assessed over a longer and more representative period.

Development Activity During Week 30

No new MACD robot version was created during the week.

No existing MACD logic was replaced.

No branch was promoted to demo-account testing.

No branch was archived.

No aggressive optimization was introduced.

The existing six-robot package was preserved unchanged to avoid interrupting the collection of comparable observation data.

Execution Safety Status

All six robots remained:

PAPER_SIM_ONLY

The execution setting remained:

orders_sent = NO

No live orders were enabled.

No order_send execution was introduced.

All reported activity remained within the paper-simulation research environment.

Week 30 Research Decision

The Week 30 decision is to continue observation of the existing MACD package without changing the current robot set.

The absence of a major performance event is not, by itself, a reason to discontinue a branch. A quiet week can still provide useful information about trade frequency, market participation, holding behaviour, and the stability of existing rules.

At the same time, no robot should be promoted simply because it remained active. Promotion requires stronger evidence from a broader observation period.

Focus of the Next MACD Review

The next review should continue to examine:

  • trade frequency for each version;
  • Net R by robot and currency pair;
  • TP, SL and MAX_HOLD outcomes;
  • differences between Base and modified versions;
  • whether shorter holding rules preserve acceptable performance;
  • whether any branch begins to show stable positive behaviour;
  • whether the available sample is large enough for a development decision.

Any future modification should be based on accumulated evidence rather than the result of a single quiet week.

Week 30 Conclusion

Week 30 produced no major development decision for the MACD robot package.

The six existing robots remain active under paper observation:

  • three EURJPY versions;
  • one AUDCAD version;
  • two GBPUSD versions.

No robot was promoted, archived, or moved to live execution.

The package remains unchanged while additional paper-simulation evidence is collected.
